Document Keyword Searches
Document keyword searches allow you to search the content or keywords contained within a document. Some documents such as agendas or minutes may contan a number of subjects or topics. With keyword searches you don't need to know the exact details of a document, you simply enter a keyword to locate it.

KEYWORD search is only available in the following groups of Documents:

County Council and Planning Commission Minutes, Ordinances, Resolutions, Contracts and Agreements, Miscellaneous Historical Documents

The following sample shows a search performed against "County Council Minutes" for the keywords "Noise Ordinance".
Document Type Searches
A document type search allows you to locate documents according to specific document values that are typically keyed in. For example, a County Council Minutes Document may have important index values such as Minutes Date, Minutes Type and Governing Board. To search for Minutes for a particular date, select the Minutes Type you want search from the drop down box, enter a value in the appropriate Date Range fields, select the appropriate Governing Board index field and click search.

The following sample shows a search performed against "County Council Minutes" documents for the Minutes Type "Minutes" with a document date range of 12/01/2010 to 12/31/2010, with the Governing Board type "County Council".

ALL FIELDS DO NOT NEED TO BE FILLED IN TO PERFORM A SEARCH. For example, when searching in "Marriage Licenses", if you enter "Smith" in the Groom's Name search field, you will get all docs that contain "Smith" (James Smith, Wayne Smithers etc).
